I think the Book 3 Ultra is only in 16", the others are in 14 and 16.

Hence, I am tempted to buy the book 2 pro 360 but i must admit I am distracted by the bottom bezel in the screen.

It's a shame that Samsung doesn't bet on AMD and its ZEN 4 = DDR5 + RDNA 3 + USB 4.0 + HDMI 2.1 + AI artificial intelligence all built at 5nm vs 10nm from intel.

So there will be a 16" Ultra, 16" Pro, 14" Pro, and another two unknown SKUs. For once, it's easy to understand since Ultra has a dedicated GPU but the Pro doesn't. I'm definitely curious about those two unknown SKUs.

There are many computational workloads like computational fluid dynamic, ML and many much more! Which can only be done on x86 architecture.
Yes Desktops and HEDT exists but there is use cases for portable x86 machines.

I am in the market for a 13" ultrabook, primarily for work. I mostly work on Excel, Power Point, Visio, Outlook, web browser and Power BI. Since my company allows BYOD, I might use it for personal tasks as well such as basic video editing, watching videos etc. when I'm travelling. My primary device for gaming, video editing, video consumption would be my desktop at home.
While I'm definitely intrigued by the M2 MBA for my personal usage, it would be quite crippling for my office tasks. Due to lack of Alt key, Excel for MacOS would be quite difficult to operate (I still use the Office 2003 shortcuts). Learning completely new keyboard shortcuts wouldn't be easy. Visio doesn't exist for MacOS neither does Power BI. Due to M2, Windows via Boot Camp is not possible either and Windows for ARM that I can run via Parallels doesn't support any x86/ x64 apps. Only the Office 365 web based apps are supported and the desktop apps are certainly superior and easier to use.
Hence, I am considering the Galaxy Book 3 Pro over the M2 MBA. The others in this space don't come with an AMOLED screen. From a price perspective, there isn't too much of a difference and they're yet to release the 13th gen versions. Indeed, this might drive down the price of the 12th gen Book 2 Pro which might just make the deal even sweeter.
Are there any other options I should be looking at?

Anonymous, 23 Jan 2023It depends on the price...but at $1000 you have M2 Macbook ... moreThe same thing kind of applies to Macbook fanboys as well. Same with desktop fanboys on a laptop forum or Steam deck users in an Aya Neo/One X community.
All irritating.

Read the comments below and learn who insulted who.
By the way he was right.
Windows notebook cost half the price with double the specs compared to Apple.
Brand dependable.
For example company like Lenovo for a price of one macbook pro could make a best specced laptop ever made with specs of a formula one.

Wonder the price and 76Wh battery aint much.
Another questio is if they arent worry to give afast charger of 130W+ to a laptop why their phones dont have a charger in the box and charge at laughable 10 up to a 20W speeds.

Although RTX 4070 sounds fancy, it's deinitely a much lower wattage version, given both the 136W charger (230-300W is the norm for anything with a powerful GPU) and the thinness. Most 4060s will probably outpower it.
