As I owned the s20 s21 and s22 ultra I have to say getting a bit boring. I hope s23 will offer some worthy upgrades otherwise just keep the current or looking for phone somewhere else.

nobody saying chinese brand should rot in hell. we are just saying everyone's choice myst be respected. chinese brands immensely helped bringing technology to everyone to the poorest of poor. but now they too are infected . no chinese brand makes sub 100 dollars phone anymore

So, you could say people who buy Samsung/iPhone are more success compared to poor chinese phone user, especially in countries where people must pay in cash to have a phone.

i agree that samsung had that issue . but they asked people to return those models . and gave them new ones . they don't have battery issue in newer models . if there was . gsmarena comment boxes would be plagued by curshing and rants from people who don't even buy samsung phone 🤣

as far as i know there are 11 major smartphone brands in china itself. one plus , oppo , vivo , redmi , mi , realme , tecno, infinix, honor , lenovo , motorola . then there's apple , nokia . considering the numbers and the sentiment Chinese people must have for their in house brands I'd say samsung is absolutely grinding in china 😂😂😂

MrWhosetheboss even made video on the issue last year and it featured lot of other tech reviewers as well all of whom admitted that Samsung batteries are problem

ik its kind of hard to swallow being a Chinese brand loyalist but just accept the fact that samsung absolutely dominates smartphone market.. everyone buys something from samsung , apple included .

Whats your point?
Second, i am saying bad things about chinese phone based on my own bad experience, using 2 different chinese junk for 6 years, both of them have bloated battery.
Third, i am replying someone who blames politics for the success of Samsung, and here you are replying my comment without no definitive purpose 🤔

If you look at actual statistics of phone sales in China, you'd immediately see that Apple, along with Chinese brands like OPPO, Honor, Vivo, and Xiaomi all have over 80% of the market share.
Samsung barely registers at all, and the only thing keeping them in the country is their folding phones, which have managed to carve out a small but high-end market share.
Chinese phones are not junk, and Chinese consumers are very much happy with them. Just because you don't want it to be that way, doesn't change the reality of it. Now go to the corner and rethink your life.

I remember those times when I actually felt excited to pre-order my S6, S7, S8 phones.
Gone are the days...
It started becoming boring from S20 (which was the glitchiest phone I ever used) to present.
I am currently sporting an S21 Ultra by the way, maybe until S24 or S25 but we'll see...

In some cases, I find Vivo HDR processing over the top. And unfortunately, hardware is not everything. Xiaomi Ultra from two generations has a really big sensor, and yet generally, I would prefer other smartphones for photography, as from what I see in tests, I would not pick it as my daily smartphone. So, I will wait for S23 Ultra to be presented, then tested, and then I will compare them.
