Now everyone is using just marketing name. This year we will have TSCM 3N process and Intel 4. What real nm are behind it noones know.

X64 used now is amd64...
No intel's architecture isn't really better.
It just scales better at higher tdp.
With that said intel easily caught upto amd and offers better performance at higher TDPs because they have the resources.
But amd should've never caught up with the considering the state they were in.
So basically intel is shit as s tech company, but a monstrosity as a business firm..

Fab problem is because Intel Foundries doesn't have technology of 7nm or 5nm which AMD is depends on TSMC foundries who has upto 4nm which lead to power and heat efficiency.
Intel processor Engineering is so good with it 10nm fab with which they reduced heat maximum compare to AMD with 10nm processor has before. I know AMD Ryzen CPU is good in heat management but it not as much as what 6nm fab Processor can achieve( Apple M1 RISC).
Still Intel is king in 10nm fab.

David Salsero, 25 Jan 2023It's a pity they don't have AMD ZEN 4 = DDR5 + RD... moreWhile i don't see them surpassing apple M2 immediately the issue i have seen with amd laptops is the availability ,i got zen 3 5800h,there was almost no availablity to 6000 laptops in 2022 for me when compared to 5000 series,and i don't see announcements of lot of u in ces 2023 series laptops (it's seriously absurd)

intel has fallen asleep or rather hibernated. Intel has been with its integrated Xe graphics for 4 years without evolving, while AMD has gone from Zen 2 with Vega 8 --> Zen 3+ with RDNA2 and now with Zen 4 --> RDN3 + AI Just read The graphics of the Core 13 disappoints, it does not surpass the AMD Vega 8
