                    Seems some people don’t know what refurbished means, or they only know of scammy 3rd party ones and not official.

                    Company I work for does official Dell and HP refurbishment for example, using official parts only and replacing anything not looking like new.

                    Same with smartphones

                      the problem with refurbished devices is that the devices itself is already broken and even if they exchange the parts it's still in a way broken some broken habits of the phone will still stay

                        I buy my iPhones from OfferUp these days. Don't care if they're used because they usually come in mint condition and come in dirt cheap if you look hard and long enough.

                        iPhone SE (2016): January 19, 2021. OfferUp. Sealed new. $80

                        iPhone SE (2022): October 30, 2022. OfferUp. Like new. $150

                        iPhone 7 (2016): December 3, 2022. OfferUp. Mint. $60

                        iPhone X (2017): December 26, 2022. OfferUp. Mint. $125

                        iPhone 4S (2011): January 10, 2023, eBay. Sealed new. $53


                        I use the SE3 and X the most thanks to wireless charging. My red SE3 is my personal favorite. Browsing on the web can last a long time. Will start using it 8AM and by 4PM, still has 40% left. My other iPhones last about 2-4 hours SOT. My 4S actually has the 2nd best battery life among all my iPhones but is generally useless on iOS6.

                          Both Apple and Samsung provide refurbished phones in my country, Apple does theirs and Samsung does theirs here (no 3rd party companies)

                          And the phones do look like new, because anything that has wear and tear, almost always the battery, screen and shell are always replaced by both.

                          There are also 3rd party companies refurbishing but you should never buy ANYTHING from them, because they claim a lot but only clean a phone and maybe put in some cheapo battery replacement that is not even a original part.

                                Refurbished doesn't mean the same thing anymore. In the old days it meant a totally new shell, screen glass and battery. Now it just means USED! Wouldn't pay Apple's prices for it!

                                    Pretty great for iphone lovers. Much better then paying full price of iphone 13 line or getting the much worse iphone 14 line.

                                      Apple's have been sold refurbished with warranty in Europe for the past 5 years. Kind of slow, huh?
