If they want a high-specced phone, they'll always choose S22 instead of A53. Samsung gives us strong discounts on the S line so it's nearly always price parity. The "S" means a lot for the average consumer.

It does absolutely everything I want from a phone. It has plenty of room for every app I need. It takes pics well enough for my needs, posting pics of food on Facebook. The phone cost me about $200. If I can get a good deal, in the future on a A5x, when I'm looking, I wouldn't hesitate.

Sure they'll bundle 4+5 support. New model being too cheap at launch is unlikely. A53 currently can be get about €300 or slightly below in my region btw.

Samsung provided this to the A53, if so this will be amazing for people using it as a work phone, especially Samsung usually is pretty prompt on security updates.
(hving rock a OnePlus Nord for 2 years+, multiple times I was blocked from access company stuff because the OnePlus did not push the latest security update for like 3 months ...

I wish they used Dimensity 8200 instead of the crappy Exynos, it would make the A54 much more competetive. Snapdragons are good but they're more expensive
