Samsung does not appear on this list, what's more, they don't mention it hahaha On the other hand, in my country I have seen many Chinese band-aids carrying an honor, alive or an iPhone in their hand!

Sadly even in china people waste there money on iphone apple

This brand even purposefully has bricks there old iphone 6 that doesn't get updated

Or the purposefully slowing down of phone or purposefully anti features anti repair nature

      Wait dangerous us spyware

China sure is soft on apple

I think one thing they did do made apple have too include a changer in the box
      yay go china

      Rip Samsung Chinese market

70% of oppo sells is from realme because oppo is a trash to compare with high prices , and xiaomi will fall every year because all reparation point have have 80% Xiaomi phone 😂😂

this is chinese market . because how west view Chinese of course chinese people gona ditch what west phone has to offer .they back using honor/Huawei...why you all blame people in chinese when western view Chinese people the worst?

Muntox09, 30 Jan 2023No wonder why, back in the days you could buy a almost-powe... moreThe destruction of Huawei caused that lol, phones were top end quality, the best camera performance by years, one of few android companies to use biometric unlock with more features than your Samsung or apple phone and emui was quality software. Also I really wouldn't say all Chinese companies have software issues, oppo were 2nd, after pixels, to receive android 13 and are getting regular updates remember.

Aren't Oneplus and Oppo looking to extend their software support up to 4 years? Hopefully honor keeps getting better and improve their software support, be another Huawei phone again from looks of the magic series (just throwing everything and the kitchen sink in to the phones).

if you can buy an apple samsung or google product for the same prize or even cheaper than a xiaomi or BBK electronics (Oppo, Oneplus, Realme, Vivo) product while those chinese manufacturers still only offer rivaling hardware but not at all software/Updates - why would anyone buy chinese phones? Because they love china? Chinas politics and working conditions are far from likeable and even if you dont care at all about politics, it may be the last straw in many people's decision.

Possibly not just the covid fallout, but also the reluctance of customers buying into "premiumisation"?
Customers have a strong sense of what makes sense, and a lot of those premium features are perceived as marketing fluff?
The APPLE numbers are telling: YoY +4%, but Q4 -37%: that's clearly the 2023 lineup with the new strange model-/pricing policies, which seems to shoot APPLE into the foot.
A strong indicator that the BS broder has been crossed.

The title must be: The Collapsing of Chinese Phone Manufacturer.

In the USA, Apple leads the phones marketshare.
In South Korea and most countries, Samsung has the highest marketshare.

But in China, surprisingly Apple has similar markershare like other chinese brands. If the growing trend continues, Apple would be the number one brand in China next year.

                      Good job Apple👍

Muntox09, 30 Jan 2023No wonder why, back in the days you could buy a almost-powe... moreTaxes my friend, taxes. You can find good deals on giztop, tradingshenzen.
That's why this decrease in Chinese market: aliexpress &co, due to taxes, can't deliver at good prices phones like it use to do. Also, people have now very good phones that can last easily 2-3 years. There's no app that can create problem for an 888/870/8.1 or mediatek variants.

hear about "market saturation"? or "consumer's fatigue", when the consumers start to lose interest in a product that became "old" and ubiquitous?

No wonder why, back in the days you could buy a almost-powered chinese phone that was rivaling to the higher and expensive samsung/apple phones.

Nowadays you find yea, pretty good phones that even surpasses some of the specs ( not all of them ) like the Vivo X80 Pro, but costs same as an apple or samsung device, with, all to be told, worse software, despite the camera being one of the best i've tried.

But, it is what it is.
