I am currently carrying the lime green S23 ultra and iPhone 14 pro max. They are not better in anyway than my Chinese phone except for zoom.
My Vivo fold is way better than my Samsung Fold 4, I still prefer my Mi 12S ultra over the S22 ultra. My favorite phone that i own is the MI 11 Ultra, not a phone out there like this.
I am not loyal to a company, I just love tech. So dont bash something you have never even seen in person. If you ever tried one of these Chinese phones I am sure you will change your mind.

My Mi12S is more durable than my S23 Ultra, I like the Samsung S23 Ultra more overall. But your statement on quality could not be more false. I take it you have never used one of these Chinese phones, if not you should. I am sure you will change your mind.
Samsung, Apple which are the 2 phones I carry daily are nice. But I like my Chinese phones just as much.

You feel sorry for people buying these phones (I'm guessing you mean all flagships from all companies) at new price that come bundled with £50-100 of accessories like a £50-70 charger and £15-20 case, in the box, for free (plus you can find other offers like accidental damage cover and earbuds etc on top) but you're happy to pay €1100, which is way too much, for the s22 ultra (that's basically brand new price which if you bought it recently is a massive rip off even with a bundle) by a company that makes you pay more for accessories which should be included with the device, for free... oki doki.

looks promising, but i'm not sure if its telephoto zoom stability can beat those on samsung s22u. i own Oppo Find X2 Pro since 2020 and Samsung S22 Ultra. i find S22u telephoto impressive due to its stability and also renders/auto sharpened the picture taken using telephoto which gives more detail than my X2 Pro.
i hope this X6 Pro will outperform samsung s22u/s23u telephoto.

Oppo's image processing is one of the most commendable ones in low light - Low shadow noise, natural exposure and dynamic range without an unnatural "compressed" look, only a hint of oversharpening (I still think they should turn it down even further, though) and nice colours. I can't wait to see how it will evolve with the combination of MariSilicon X2 and a much larger IMX989 sensor.
On top of that, kudos to Oppo for using *actually good* sensors for the auxiliary cameras too. When OnePlus no longer gives a damn about camera hardware and Vivo is still struggling to increase the size of the UWA sensor from type 1/2, not only did Oppo dare to keep it at type 1/1.56, but this time around, also managed to use exactly the same sensor for the telephoto camera as well. If Find X6 Pro will be priced right, maybe I can finally replace my aging P30 with it.

I can always get these phones for -20-25% less plus the freebees just by looking for offers. Last year I got the s22 ultra 256gb at day 1 for 1,100 euros with a free buds pro bundled and 2 year accidental damage insurance.

Also, the marketshare of chinese brands is collapsing, because they sell mediocre quality phone.

Gggg, 31 Jan 2023Xiaomi don't stand a chance I won't be so sure of that because of the 12S Ultra photo quality. It's a massive improvement over the Mi 11 Ultra, especially when using the Leica Authentic mode. But then again, I don't know how Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 ISP performs on such phones, so I'll wait and see about it.

Oppo has gone from being one of the worst in terms of sensor size on their flagship last year to being the number 1 this year in terms of total sensor size. It's a bit dissapointing though that they have downgraded the hardware a lot on the non pro version. Last year they gave more or less the same camera hardware on the pro and non pro models

There is no junk better than oth... morei am a samsung user too (i use s22 ultra) but i am a former huawei mate 20 pro user, so i can say that chinese phones are truly the best phones available. i mean, how many non-chinese brands at premium level of quality exist? only crapple and samsung. samsung is great today, apple is somewhere in 2015 in terms of innovation and all the chinese brands are superior in any way. vivo, huawei, oppo, many brands with different strengths and features, a large variety cou can choose from. while in our "free world" we got only samsung and crapple to choose from, and they are offering the same crap since three years (s20-s23 and iphone 11-14), they are only improving what they offered last year, better processing, marginal hardware changes, while chinese brands make big steps every year.
