CmD, 01 Feb 2023Looks like this will only be 33 mm. Mini indeed. nope, if we compare it with the screen size of the gts 4 mini which is 70%, it will be 42mm, you should also add the frame size, not just the screen.

But ... moreI am man and 46mm way too big for a daily watch which you wear even during sleep.there is no right or wrong about this.it is a personal preference.46mm is too big for one size for all.it is like pants.some wear S size,some wear XL size.you cannot sell only XL by it's own.amazfit had to have a 43-44mm mid size as one size for all or they had to add a smaller variant.this mini model should be there from the beginning.

GTS 4 mini has 270mAh battery and has excellent duration, this may be a more-than-15-day smartwatch with it´s 500mAh battery

We've had Amazfit and Huawei watches side by side (similar price range), there's a noticeable difference in quality. The rotating crown on the Huawei watch was smooth, on Amazfit it felt too light to spin and it wasn't damped (like metal scratching on metal).
The BT range on Amazfit was atrocious. It was loosing signal a couple of meters away from phone. With the Huawei i could use the call function from any point in my house, even when standing outside my house.
I had my first Amazfit watch for like 4 years, it served well, but i can't recommend them any longer.

I've had GTR 42mm and returned back to Amazfit Bip, it was unreadable in daylight unless with max brightness eating battery, meanwhile AOD was completely unreadable in daylight (what's the point having it if you can't see it?) and despite hacving AOD only between like 8-20 each day I had to charge it 2-3 times a week, meanwhile with Amazfit Bip I can perfectly read it without any backlight in daylight and I switch backlight only in dark evenings when not next to light and I am charging it like once in 30-40 days

I'm never buying a smartwatch again. I barely got rid of my Galaxy Watch 5. What a useless piece od crap. Traded it in for a nice solar Citizen diver.

minkyd, 01 Feb 2023What chipset is it using?I don't know exactly, but they usually use huami brand chipsets with risc-v architecture. You won't care about this after knowing the smoothness and battery life of their devices.

I like Amazfit but I wish they support NFC Pay in my country. I wish they at least support Google Pay but because they are using their own proprietary Zepp OS, maybe it's not possible. Hey at least they should make collaboration with Google to support Google Pay or make their NFC Pay available in more country.

I just brought GTR 3, its perfect, battery life (normal using, sometimes gps running) 15days now and still 52 percent :)
