There is j... moreSince my last phone ( VIVO X80 Pro ) and my last one ( S21 Ultra ) i think my next phone, if the S23 Ultra does not have DC Dimming or a high PWM ( similar to vivo, even if still bothers me ) i will go for a mid-high end phone ( around 500€ ).

Like you said, if you do not get a really good offer for a flagship, does not make any sense.
The only flagships i see going down those numbers are 2gen old flagships with +2y and pretty use, amoled screen degrade over time ( you forgot to add that ), despite battery too screen is for me, a huge deal breaker, that is why i also prefer LCD over OLED.

OLED after 1-2 years depending on use and abuse colors are completely degraded.

All I want to know is that whether it will have LTE/5G connectivity. The previous Pad 5 Pro 5G is only available in China and not sold globally, which is a real shame.

Anonymous, 01 Feb 2023Your argument is astronomically dumb. 3 phones in 6 year... moreI dont look second hand markets for electronics. There is just no point to look for second hand phone that is 1-2 years old flagship that be around 500 euro as used phone for a year or 2

What do i get from 2 year old flagship for 500 euro ? Maybe 1 android update and some security updates that are left depending on brand? Now for 500 euro i can already buy top end middle class that give me 2-3 years of updates and everything is new.

You never know what you get from second hand market as the phone maybe needs battery change or something that is extra cost.

Also it's not normal to change phones every after 1-2 years if they have no issues. It's really small minority who waste money without that type of care.
Also you show how your fantasy works when your in the internet.

Google first pixel phone come out 2016 October. There for Pixel phones have been in the market for 6 years. And i said probably less then 6 years cause he probably wasnt in line waiting the phone release date in a tent outside of the shop this phone was sold like back in the day with apple products. As also he didnt mentioned the time period and model names he owned i said the 6 years period that probably is shorter. There is nothing even to fantasize of this.

Why you got so triggered over it and then start to accuse is beyond me

3 phones in 6 years is more than normal. That's literally a phone every 2 years, which is the life expectancy of that vast majority of Android phones. Pixels last longer and have far better software support for the whole life cycle of each generation. Take a look at the second hand market, and you'll see how popular they are.

The guy changing his Pixels every 2 years can easily be interpreted as the Pixels being good for him, so he always wants the latest and greatest but that doesn't suite your biased agenda, so you made up a negative narrative inside your head and believed it was the truth.

That's 3 pixel phones in less then 6 years and you say it works fine.
You basically give out proof that they dont work fine if you need 3 of them in less then 6 years.
As first Pixel phone was released October 2016 so probably even less then 6 years for you to own 3 phones.
                                  Makes the case worse.

I need a nice 8 inch Android tablet like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and there isn't anything like it anywhere other than the iPad mini.

blue, 01 Feb 2023Oh yes, Pixel... the very most problematic phones in the wo... more"the most problematic phone in the world" explain how I've had 3 google pixel devices that have worked perfectly fine? and I've had several Samsung devices that have developed issues, including my Z flip 3 which completely deleted ALL of my pictures, videos, and files. here, ill list all the Samsung devices I've had and what issues I've had with them

Z flip 3 (replacement): Pink line appeared along the screen & crease started cracking. Samsung refused to do a free repair even though they said it would be free, it was within warranty, and I had Samsung care plus. reason given was "unauthorized modifications where made" though the phone was completely stock.

Z flip 3 (original): device was problematic from the get go. It would freeze up, crash, randomly shut down, overheat, and corrupted a few photos. Waited for the android 12 update, it then proceeded to completely corrupt itself.

Tab s6: Device was dropped lightly onto a carpet, and the OLED panel underneath the glass completely shattered. S pen function also never worked out of the box, Samsung wouldn't fix it.
Note 10 plus: was fine till one UI 3.1 update, causing battery life to completely tank, overheating, and the S pen function struggled to work. Other previous issues include the charging port burning out and ceasing to function while using a Samsung 45W power adapter, and the S pen snapping off inside when it was dropped one time.

A10s: it literally caught on fire while charging

S7: device was fine until a purplish blotch appeared on the screen, and quickly took over the entire display within 2 days, rendering it unusable.

Note 4: Battery absolutely wouldn't hold a charge, phone HAD to be on a charger to function, would die immediately when unplugged. It also kept killing all of my chargers (official Samsung chargers)

S3: the screen just went black. everything else worked fine, and you could hear it, it just wouldn't output a picture.

In my experience of owning pixel devices (got a pixel 3XL to try out android 12 early in the summer of 2021, and got a pixel 4 to try out android 13 early last summer, now own and daily drive a pixel 7 Pro) I have NEVER had an issue. they have been fast, reliable, and the battery lasts all day, unlike any of my Samsung devices.
