If you would put the trackpad in the middle, then your right palm would be touching it so often while you're typing. Centering it would be aesthetically pleasing, but highly annoying :)

Also, user choice is NEVER a bad thing, e.g.: the lack of Ryzen 6000 is partly why the "modular" and "open-source" Framework Laptop is struggling in the market right now...

3.9lbs and a RTX 4070... no chance this will be an over 100W TGP GPU.

Here's an Obligatory comment about the lack of Ryzen 6000 on this thing.
Intel STILL gets destroyed by AMD in terms of efficiency, sustained performance, and runtime. I mean, the ThinkPad Z13 with the 6850U got DOUBLE the battery life of a comparable Dell XPS 13 with an Intel 12th chip as per Tom's Hardware (14 hrs vs 7:30 hours). I still don't understand why laptop OEMs like Samsung can't get with the program and use the much better AMD CPUs!
