It's all marketing bs. Of course, they will say only positive points about this mobile. It happens every year. What I'm interested to see are the real videos created by real consumers and not by paid directors and staff.

This announcement was probably the worst I have seen. It reminded me of the S7 launch where all they spoke about was the camera. The S23 launch was mainly about the video capabilities of the S23 Ultra.

Google is on 23W & Samsung 45W maybe we'll see some improvements in Pixel 8 pro & Galaxy S24 Ultra it's inevitable when more and more people are diagnosed with battery anxiety at the Hospitals.

I remember the old days when smartphones used to charge for like 4 hours and had terrible batteries that lasted less than the time they took to charge
You had to plan your charging sessions depending on what you'd be doing for the day and everytime you had to go somewhere you were worried about the battery and always charged it at 100% before you left and everytime you went to bed you would put it on charge
Kids nowadays are too spoiled and don't know how we had it. Now they complain how it takes them 30 mins to charge from 0 to 100% and then the battery lasts them the whole day...

Past S10 lite is always same device on outer side with bit diffrent internals.
But nothing worth the price.
Rather will wait and see Xiaomi Mi 13 Ultra review because Samsugn failed past 4 years
Maybe they could make a recruiting for new design team since its looks like Samsung really needs something which will looks much more better than phones from past 4 years.
But no they are like Apple. Up to Iphone 5 all phones were same looking device.
Since Iphone 6 to 11 Pro max they went slimmer design but also same looking device.
And from 12 its again thick brick like was Iphone 4 and 5.

I read all the comments and saw two commenters going at it about innovation. Want innovation? How about holographic calls for true to life video calling? The S series was always an innovator, that would save their face right now instead of being like every other manufacturer these days.

I just can't get excited about phone releases these days, they all do the same thing and it's just all about how many cameras and zoom lenses they can fit on the back.

That is literally what i gave. Innovative ideas where asked of me, so i gave them.
putting a solid state battery in a phone is innovation, because its new and has never been done before
The camera thing. definitely not new, but at this point it would be innovation for Samsung, since they love putting crappy cameras with big numbers inside of smartphones.
Microphone in the Spen? its a new idea, hasnt ever been done before.
Shatterproof glass? that's a new Idea that hasn't been done before on a smartphone, and its useful because everyone has accidents that can damage their devices. Just because you don't ever drop your phone doesn't mean the same for others.
If you're going to criticize my actually new and potentially helpful ideas, why don't you go ahead and come up with your own? since you're allegedly so good at it.
NOTHING that the s23 brings is innovative or new.
