It's not made of plastic and besides everyone uses different casings made of plastic or rubber so what's the point in buying a phone made of glass when you have to cover it at all times. Most of the people arguing over here might not even buy any phone at all this year.

Samsung great products period they market well other companies fail on getting there products known I reseach everything well plus I have used a lot of highend smartphones note 2 tops all smartphones used by me note 3 will more then likely kill the other companies

i really do not understand what people call INNOVATION.Samsung has just done what most phone manufacturers do not have in their current flagship.lets be honest to ourselves,the S4 is a phone worthy of honour and praise.concerning the body,body of a phone has nothing to do with innovation.But the freedom it gives.Your television set is built with plastic,infact all the things we use have a deposit of plastic in them.I LOVE YOU ALL.THANKS

If you don't like the samsung phone, why you are here, visiting it spec and commenting about your oppinion. All S4 is hardware better features, also Android is OS better issues, mean that the phone is better than S3, also than Iphone and many others phone brands. If don't like to you, won't buy it, but then don't speak about it, is your mind problem.

S4 is just a piese of crap... just a upgraded version from S3.. They should probaly named it as S3-01 :P i would rate it as 3/10 for S4....
on the otehr side, it's Sony's "Z"... really impressive... i would defanatly brought it, if it had a user replasable batter too... sony just loosed it's grap on there :( would rate it as 8/10...
so upto now i'm not gonna buy both mobile.... trying hard to know about the feature set in HTC One... will see how that looks

i think s4 will still sell but not as good as s3...still not sure since samsung got a good marketing strategy as good as apple(thas why apple is so bitter about this)...really dont see any good innovation on S4...but still an improvement from s3...maybe they are targeting s2 owners on due for an upgrade

I had an s2 and was ready for my next upgrade, i was crossed between One X & S3 (i had an htc desire b4 S2). Got the S3 because of sd card slot and removable batts. I ask the HTC rep for the rubbish ideas about the removed of card slot and embedded batts, she said you got cloud (waste of data to me) and non remove batts to stop counterfeit battery.
HTC shot themselve in the foot again with One, its ashame they havent learn from there previous mistake and listen to consumers. Sony did, hence sd card slot with xperia z.
I will stick to my s3 for now, s4 is too identical for me..... great piece of kit for non s3 user though.

Most smartphone user buy a plastic case to cover there device specially glass which is smash prone and aluminium which scratch prone.
Why by nokia, ntc, sony or even apple.....if u want quality go for vertu, now thats quality.
For most tech enthusiast like myself, we prerer better tect and hardly complain about the outer casing. You can always buy a new case but you can't replace any internal components.
By the way, samsung use polycarbonate not plastic, please check link :
