If pre-order sales are not good, or sales are slow when officially released the trade-in values should increase.
It's simply a corporate decision to see how many they can sell for as much as they can get for them. Send Samsung a message, do not pre-order or buy when released on the 17th, wait it out for a while and we might all benefit.

Goddamn it!! The trade in values are butchered. My S21 is going for $200. What the hell is going on, this is the first time they went for such horrid prices.

Samsung is always botching a launch of a new product.
For my Z Fold 4, i had to keep refreshing and stalking the page to get a $700 trade in. At one point it was not even listed on the website.
Now, for the S23 Ultra, i made a reservation. No email. With no email comes no enhanced trade in value. They want to give me only 750 for the phone, i see it sells for 1290 now from samsung so i guess its not bad but the knowledge of me having a potential enhanced offer is going to make me hold off.
Called customer support, got some dude, Carl from the Philippines, telling me he only has an S10 and his dream is to come to America....okay......bro just send me the confirmation email of my reservation. 1 hour later, still no email...Just a mess!!! Now i have no problem with Philippinos but damn, dude didnt understand my problem at all!! At least get english speaking support!!!
They also only claimed to give $50 in credit if u reserve. now, everyone gets $150 credit.
I am not enjoying my Z Fold 4, I wanted to move to the S23 Ultra and probably be happy, maybe God didnt want me to be spending money, im going to keep the Z Fold 4 till Google can take it off me for whatever Pixel for free.
Samsung just lost me

Moving to USA in April. Will upgrade to S series and will buy a serious Samsung smartwatch. Don't need earbuds as I have many of them. Currently using A52. Pretty good.
