5 reasons Why external Storage is important:
1- SECURITY - You can't trust the cloud. Google already suspended accounts because some people uploaded their own nudes. Ai can put a red flag and suspend your account. That means no privacy. Not to mention Data leak of personal files.
2- SPEED - They can say 5G is fast, but if you use your phone for video, for example, the files can be very big and it takes time to upload. Then you are in an area with bad reception or your battery dies and you need the files. What do you do?
3- PROFESSIONAL PHOTO/VIDEO - If you want to make tons of pictures and videos you'll need a lot of storage. A phone with 128GB is useless for that.
4- ACCIDENTS - We don't want to break the phone, but imagine that you make a lot of great videos in a place with bad reception, your data didn't have enough time to upload to the cloud and Bammm...your phone breaks. You can't access your images right away and that lead us to a nightmare that is:
5- DATA LEAK - Your phone is damaged with a lot of pictures or videos that you don't want others to see. You know what I mean. Now you have to trust some random technician to fix your phone and hope that this person do not leak your data.
Solution: Now they sell some Pen drives that you can plug in your USB-C to download the pictures. It works, but again, if your battery is dead or if your phone is damaged, you can't back up your data.
Yes, samsung, there are so many things you can do to trash iphone. Bring external storage back. Terminate this stupid curved screen and think about a removal battery. At least put a battery in a position that is very easy to replace. People will love you more than apple.

I'm fun of samsung until they rid of the memory card slot..
I'm not into cloud if i won't use cloud then using the phone memory after 2 to 4yrs will change phone you need to transfer the photo video to your new phone 🤦♂️🤦♂️
Now im still using my note 20 ultra maybe I'm going to change my phone until midrange will be higher specs than note 20 ultra
Or maybe switching to sony maybe sony will still have memory card slot this 2023..

So...is my 3yr old SM-N976F a.k.a Note10+ due for an upgrade to S23 Ultra?
Maybe not.
I just swapped the battery on the N10+ and it'll continue to serve at least 3 more years before I consider upgrade to something else.
Smartphones manufacturers are releasing way too much phone it became boring and lame.

I can appreciate all the efforts put into making the s23 series, I'm still wandering if there is a justification of swiping a s22 ultra for a s23? Other then a better camera and memory upgrade... is there anything worth mentioning or am I missing something. A lot of hipe for a product with marginal innovation. I'm a big fan of Samsungs devices... but I'm thinking of skipping a generation. Or invest in a better folding phone if they will make one this year... any toughest?

Samsung - all you had to do is bring back the 3.5mm jack and SD card. S23 seems to be great size phone. Zenfone 9 it will be for me this time, since at least it has the jack, bigger battery and cheaper.

The main problem is the price, especially for the downgraded S23 version and even S23+ is way too expensive at least in Europe. Not to mention that MKBHD did a hands-on S23 vanilla and the camera still has shutter lag.

494 for a S23 8/128 Go without any memory expansion. Given that Android + Samsung soft take 10-15 Go, that's around 100 for the users, I hope you don't make a lot of picture/videos and that you have a good cloud offer with great availabity 😋
It's becoming less and less psosible to be 'private' and not to have any kind of service ...
