So in order to avoid hefty import duties Samsung S23 series is being made in India but is going to sell for 175$ more than S22 series?
I bought S22Plus made in Korea for 54000. And it is imported.
What the frok!

Whoa! No buy. At least the premium devices sold, costing upwards of 1 'goshdarn' Lakh rupees need to be made in Vietnam (at the very least, if not Korea!). I lack confidence in the local assembling capabilities of these really high end products that are going to be sold here. Sorry, not buying one just to hoist my flag of jingoism and show that I'm some sort of a compliant patriot. Do not want to be visiting the service centers for heating and chip related issues after spending SUCH a HUGE amount of money. This is the final nail in the coffin for my S23 story. Good riddance.

Good to hear, although I am sure that many (most?) components would be imported.
