tbk, 03 Feb 2023if you preorder today, s23 256gb from samsung shop app, it ... moreIt is weird that you are jumping through hoops to defend a company.

Samsung manufacturers S23 phones in india so saying that higher prices are due to higher taxes is wrong.

And a trillion dollar company like samsung is not so weak that it has to please a tiny electronic store like Vijay soles or some shops in villages.

Samsung has priced these phones at such a high price in order to cash in on initial hype and demand. It knows there will be some suckered who will get carried away by hype and every shiny new thing that they will buy electronic gadgets at launch itself. So samsung priced it high to get sales from those kind of people.

I'm saying because i've ordered it.

and in 1 or 2 months time offline samsung stores will sell (given the offilne disc and hdfc/sbi disc) the s23 range from 55-60k onwards and the ultra would hardly be 75k.

the high mrp is only to please big stores like vijya sales or their offline partners small stores in far fetched places

Anyway S22 won't be marginally pricier than A54 any time soon in my country, so good for you guys! It only confirms there are always some possibilities to find. Never buy overpriced phones peoples. If you do, then do not complain in comments - it is your own fault.

Price in india converted to US dollar despite manufactured in india

Better go for Galaxy S22 espavially now since S22 canbe purchased under 50K easily during sales.
& A54 is expected to cost close to 40K so it doesn't make much sense.
S22 is much better device overall, even a year old Flagship is still much better than current gen Midranger.
Flagship 8G1 being much much faster than Midrange chips like 778+ especially in GPU,almost 3X faster.even after throttling its still a faster chip than 778+.
                      Top grade Display,Cameras with 3X telephoto,Premium build & design,Small form factor,Flagship haptics,Wireless charging,Reverse Wireless charging,Samsung DeX,Better Netwok reception & speeds.Battery endurance is less but its not that bad also.

So for a marginal higher price than A54 you can have Flagship S22.it makes much more sense.

Highly overpriced. Would buy iphone by putting few extra money. S23 is flop series. S22 series was the best. Who would by S23+ for 1 lac that too of 8 gb ram and average camera.

Rkm, 02 Feb 2023I mean, no one sane buys Samsung flagships right away when ... moreCheck, in a way. Their MSRP is basically like "no way" all the time. Ridiculous, compared to prices I can really get particular phones. Why buy anything overpriced? It's a wrong habit, if you're not rich by chance. See lucky guys who already posted decent deals. Well for now a lucky minority.

Still, they could've found a way to make better offer to factory domestic peoples. It would be profitable for all in terms of good behavior and relations.

UltraHD, 02 Feb 2023Well since Galaxy A54 will look identical to S23, maybe bet... moreIt makes a lot of sense with the smartphone pricing and packaging these days. The price and the stuff you get out of the box are not worth it now so, a mid-ranger is fine. I hope these companies learn the hard way. Charge a premium price then give a premium experience. Simple.

I don't need the upgrade. I'm just here for the banter. The pricing is too damn high.

Meh. Ultra-affordable prices. Samsung should increase at least 50% considering what they are offering.
