mihayash, 03 Feb 2023It says power management, another gimmick, something new,but ... moreYou clearly have no idea what efficency is or how android uses RAM.
Using this sites battery endurance metrics, phones 6 years ago got an average of about 60 hours battery, about 8-10 hours Web browsing (sometimes lower), about the same for video playback. There's current phones on the market from now to 2020 that have 130+ hours of endurance, some 160 hours with 18+ hours on Web browsing and video playing back (with like what, 35 hours of calls or more and a day or more of non stop video playback). This is while increasing overall performance by what, 5-10 times what it was even 5 years ago (flagship SoCs from 2017 like the SD 835 get pretty easily beaten by even low to mid range chips from the last 2 years).
The current IQOO 11 (8gen2 chip) with a 144hz QHD screen gets basically 23 hours of video playback, that's a day of just watching videos, another 19 hours of Web browsing and 33 hours of calls with 127 hours endurance. The 8gen2 has a gpu almost on par with a ps4 pro at about a tenth of the power consumption but has actual real time ray tracing (mobile SoCs are what, 5w average, 15w max?)
Android and RAM - The more it's using, the smoother your phone runs, its not strict on what's left in the RAM so generally will be able to preload/execute un used instructions from even days ago, unlike apple devices which want to close and end all processes as soon as they can (Windows devices are different to that aswell). If you have 8gb or RAM, but you're using 6gb up constantly (like my phone, I've never had slow downs or RAM capacity limitations), it means you've got 2gb more for it to dump data/apps/processes to the RAM to let the phone perform the tasks far quicker which it does over days of usage (so even if you've closed YouTube 2 days ago, most likely the data will be still cached to the RAM for quicker pre loading and smoother operation). Once you finally hit the limit (so you have 8gb and it's now using 8gb) it'll just end basically the oldest operations and dump data to clear for new apps and processes. Basically... USE. UP. YOUR. RAM.
Also learn and understand the tech you're using and what's actually in your devices and how they work and understand the sort of improvements that are actually made instead of straight up ignorant comments. (even exynos chips that still have major problems, have come leaps and bounds in the development of mobile device tech) current flagships destroy laptops from even 5years ago gets over triple the battery endurance against even lower quality screened, energy efficient x86 chips and devices.

IpsDisplay, 03 Feb 2023"Same story every year from these manufacturers"
... moreIt says power management, another gimmick, something new,but still i was talking about phones that only lasts one day,let me repeat 1 day, after years and years with promises that these processors are more efficient, only lies and i don't even how many years they passed,4 maybe 5 or 6,but nothing's changed.Only marketing.
I don"t know if i can speak for other people,i want a new Smartphone that last's at least 3 days and that is doesn't consume 50% of ram memory like all those phones out there.

Your making it sound like the claims of longer battery life via a dedicated power management chipset is something common in the industry
There is literally no Samsung smartphone in existence with it and there aren't even 10 smartphones with such an approach
PLUS the claim of 1600 life cycle is literally the story of ONE previous company thus far being OPPO
So this story is quite literally NOT the same story

Another one of these 1600 battery cycles. Reno 8T had no special tech so maybe something to do with the battery.

Same story every year from these manufacturers, but still the battery lasts only 1 day, every year the same lie.
I did quit Samsung Note 10+,and now i use Poco X3 Pro with custom rom,the battery life is insane,on a phone that costs 200$,if you buy a flagship is only marketing. No sd card,no headphone jack,no charger,no headphone inside the box,so why should we spend that money if we dont have nothing new, except the design and lies !

Sharing workloads with other chips which not as efficient as the main one, can lead to slower performance than working with a single powerful chip

While this sounds interesting, I'm not sure if third-party chargers can make full use of that dedicated chip.
