Anonymous, 04 Feb 2023It's kind of funny thinking about companies coming up ... moreMan since every company needs to generae income to funding new researcg, new product line etc its obvious longevity of devices is not on stake.
They make for 2-3 years and then you have to buy new one because money must always go.
Its a never ending run, but since inflation everywhere and everything is more and more costly every yea me, you and everybody else have no choice just to stick with this time, era and events.

Bigmeme, 04 Feb 2023Even cameras are not exactly getting upgraded in oneplus phones. GCam can make a big difference, but I can't say I'm surprised lol. Their "partnership" with Hasselblad didn't seem to accomplish much 😂
Nobody:
OnePlus: Spends millions on camera sponsorship rather than actually improving anything
Meanwhile people who work on GCam make much better use of the sensors that large company with much more resources to work with.

OnePlus is not gonna learn nor some stupid brands who think they are smart. Why are you bringing in 8/128 variant?? Instead show your commitment with better price and 16/256.
OnePlus has been freaking with useless models since OnePlus 8. You guys not gonna learn. One more failure to you

It's kind of funny thinking about companies coming up with new designs for phones. They have to be creative making it look different while stuffing essentially the same components inside it year after year. It honestly doesn't look like that bad of a phone stats wise, but it's not impressive enough to swap out your perfectly good phone for (unless you're using a dinosaur phone lmao).
Phone tech is really plateauing and improving the camera marginally year after year isn't enough. I really wish companies would try to work on making longer lasting batteries (both daily usage and long term reliability), but companies don't want you keeping your phone for years. I really wish the world prioritized longevity of products rather than shoveling them out year after year just for them to go in a waste pile. I still have a OnePlus 5 that works great, really miss those aluminum body phones
