My Edge Dev just updated to the newest version. This new style looks so bad that temporary I will move to Firefox. They didn't only change the style of topbar. They also added a bing icon that can't be removed. Also pages are displayed in a frame with rounded corners.
This looks so bad that I don't understand why did they do it...

Yass! Finally ! You have no idea what an absolute pain it is to use Google search these days ... page 1 is basically all Ads . Google only pushes link that will lead me to buy something .

2.Image search is useless .. can't download, or take screenshot a lot of pics in them

3.video tab will lead me to watch basically 1 min of ad before i get to my contrnt

BUT SHOPPING TAB IS LIT ASF 🥲

Still censors search results and tried to pull some spooky things in the past.

It's obvious that this is 1998 again, and the way searches are conducted changes irreversably (until the next paradigm shift).
Would be interesting though, whether the current mode will still be around, as some sort of "legacy mode", since it has it's merits and use, for sure.

I doubt it is going to be of much help for tech enthusiasts. We have to look for a "wide variety" of results which I sincerely doubt any current AI can comprehend. Usually troubleshooting stuff. But I can also see a large part of "daily search" being perfectly catered-to for basic usage. Especially education and creative hobbies. Just that tech is going to be an hiccup.
