Google announces Bard: an AI-powered ChatGPT rival that will soon be featured in search

Instead of looking for sites that might have answers to your questions, Bard will read and distill the data from the Internet and provide readable, succinct answers directly.

I don't understand, why waste time creating another name, Bard, when it's just LaMDA lite essiantially. Just implement LaMDA in Google Assistant/Search and call it a day. Nevertheless these chat AI's will change the way we use internet. For the better or worse...

    It's fun to try, but it's not something I will wholly rely on.

      Not much of AI will be there if Google would need to modify all results because it would be "harmful" for some group of people because AI doesnt play with woke and just post real-life results :D
