Realme Neo series was supposed to be way more affordable than this.
Wtf is Realme thinking?

Also, why are they pushing super fast charging so much?People wont pay hundreds of dollas/euros just for that, compared to 67W....

Anonymous, 09 Feb 2023...and still they lack basic wireless charging.Who cares about wireless charging, since the phone tops up in under 10 minutes?

That 470$ 240w version will be at least 800€ in Europe. Here prices are insane. Rapid inflation reduced quality of living for 50%.

Everything is same but you have two different chargers and a tiny difference in memory option and here comes two different models! It's hilarious! When you can't innovate anything, you give all your attention in chargers. Nonsense!

Realme GT Neo 5 150W is CNY2,499 ($368) for the base 8/256GB variant.

2499 CNY means 30,000 Indian Rupee. If it launches 256gb version variant at this price in India... I'm definitely buying it in first sale... Just hope they offer silver color version instead of plain white

Finally some new. I hope this light would be used as led notification :) Good price, nice main sony sensor.

Prices for the 240W variant are CNY3,199 ($470) for 16GB/256GB version and CNY3,499 ($515) for the 16GB/1TB edition.

This will become 700 EUR in my country...lol...

Nice pricing for China. Slightly cheaper than the Oneplus Ace 2 ($15 cheaper). Both are similar but the Ace 2 has the full blooded Snapdragon 8 gen 1+. This phone has the reduced frequency snapdragon 8 gen 1+ that was also seen on the Redmi k60. Realme though has the faster charging. Pity they don't have a less 'flashy' variant. Realme mainly targets students though in China so I guess it's understandable that they are trying to go for a design that might attract young people. There is a real price war going on in China for snapdragon 8 gen 1+ phones. Redmi was first, then Iqoo matched their pricing. Oneplus then beat Redmi and Iqoo's pricing and now Realme has beaten Oneplus in the pricing war!

this is why no one can stop Chinese, it doesn't run out of new and new developments.

Ofcourse it will make a unique apperance in mid range phones as Nothing did, or even looks better. Also, I could be wrong, but as per camera review videos.. 2 mp is microscope, not marco. China price is excellent, now let's wait for global pricing at feb. end and rumored GT3 rebranding.

"The fast charging could also be demanding from the phone, but Realme got a TUV Rheinland certification to confirm its safety."

Curious if number of cycles is tested at 10W like oppo TÜV test. 😂😂

240w variant is eclipsed by the base 150w. 30% more expensive just for faster charging and lower battery is a meh (well into bad) proposition. Double the RAM, yes, but it doesn't make a whole lot of difference. I myself can make-do with a damn 6/128.

Great value. Just needs to support root and have an IR Blaster. That way I can ditch Xiaomi for good; they're pretty lacking - especially fkin Android 12 in most of their new Global launches.
