I still love samsung for the innovation side. I dont really care for the design what I need is a hardcore software and feature because that's what makes life easier. :)

did you know that samsung is almost a third of the corean economy, this is to say it can't collapse and certainly not because of a failed phone.
saying that samsung will collapse if s4 fails is like saying that a croissanteri will go bankrupt if half of todays croissants are left unsold.
you just can't imagine how huge is this company.

i really wont be surprised if one now has to hold something as large as a plate/dish close to the ear to make and recieve calls...seems we are getting there

In comparate with Galaxy S4 sreen 5.0 inch the Galaxy mini with 4.3 inch is a good size remenber the galaxy s2 !!! lol hugs from Brasil

If Sony has the S4 specs or let's say ahead of technology, Sony will become successful and it's a worthy RIval of Apple, Since Sony doesn't bash anything,and they have original design, they don't copy anything,
even Apple says during the court case againts samsung
(while holding an Xperia phone and Lumia)
"Not every smartphone needs to look like an Iphone."
Sony Xperia Designs are incredible don't forget the build material like my Xperia P "aluminum body" structure, while Samsung are better for Specs, but I don't like the design,yet they sold well beacause they're cheaper than Xperia phones, while Xperia Phones are worth the Money no matter how high the price is Just like the Apple Products.

The S4 Mini should have quad core and a 720p screen at most for it justify its price.

Unfortunately we're now in a phone era where big is better and a 4.3" screen is now a mini! But I can understand why it's called a "mini" when it's so called siblings are near tablet sized! We're getting to a point where we will see a 6" screen on Samsung phones, which is getting to the point of ridiculous. A smartPHONE is meant to be a good sized phone, not something that's so big that you may need a laptop case for it!
Seriously I will not get wrapped up in this "big screen is better" fashion. I will go up to 4.5" but no more. The iphone 5 is a great size for a phone and if it was a little wider then that would be my definition of a perfect phone screen size. Once again I emphasise this is phones I am talking about. If I want anything bigger I'd aim for a tablet.
Now as for the Galaxy S4 mini, people who know phone specs will know how much of a rip off the S3 "mini" was specs wise. With the specs of a 3 year old phone, they marketed and initially sold it at a UK price of nearly £400! All because Samsung duped non techie people into thinking it literally was the S3 but smaller. There is nothing stopping Samsung doing the same with the S4. When official specs are released with prices, I would love to see Samsung fans unjustifiably defend their rip off brand.
As for Apple. Since when do iPhones get released at rip off prices? A new iPhone is released with top of the range specs and any independent reviewer will confirm the high end specs match the price. If Apple release a new mid range phone at premium prices (like Samsung do) then people can have a go at them. Reducing the price of an older model is not ripping off.
A Samsung Galaxy S3 mini initially sold at nearly £400. An iPhone 4S selling at £420. Specs wise and every other way, the iphone beats the S3 mini. Yet the price difference is about £30. So which one is better value for money?
