Snapdragon 8 gen 2 definitely got some power too it

I really like see a Nubia red magic 8+ pro

Benchmarked on a userbenchmark as this site grades device for every category

Need run the benchmark though a compatibility layer like wine but too see a gaming smartphone graded as if it was a desktop is useful

Ajith Reddy, 16 Feb 2023Samsung s20+ exynos Single : 626 Multi : 2456 Open GL ... moreSingle score are definitely low, lower than my s10. Multi score seems fine I guess, little bit higher than my S10. You need to remove all background running apps before doing test, obviously some app was sucking your cpu performance during the test.

          Samsung s20+ exynos
          Single : 626
          Multi : 2456
          Open GL 2514

          These scores are very mediocre
Do you think there's any problem with the device ?

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2023I love how someone here claimed D9000 was better than 8g1 b... more8 gen 2 is absolute beast of the chipset on mobile phones, only A16 is better one. Using Geekbench 5, 8gen 2 score similarly or better than my i7 3770k running on 5ghz on my desktop PC. So 8gen 2 matchestop of the line desktop cpu from 10 years ago which is with extreme overclock. Meaning you can compare 8gen2 performance easely with top of the line desktop cpu from 8 years ago something like i7 4790k, it is insane how fast are smartphone cpu these days, we experiencing pinnacle of computing evolution.

Best benchmark app hands down, it is the only one accurately performing benchmarks across any OS between desktop or mobile CPU's. Using it you could really compare Desktop CPU performance with any mobile or laptop CPU performances.

Anonymous, 15 Feb 2023Care to explain why/how Dimensity isn't as good as ant... moreWell the first example was K30 ultra v. K30 pro/K30s in late 2020. Though K30u released at a low price and was packed with good specs, the phone was very buggy. After several weeks and months, these bugs were not fixed and the phone was still not optimized. And...users were furious on several xda-like forums as well as YouTube equivalent platforms(more casual users). The was another phone, iqoo z1, also equipped with D1000+, many people hyped that z1(and 30u) could rival 865-equipped flagship killers. But they never.

The second example was find x5 pro dimensity. This time, oppo released a dimensity flagship. Many people anticipated that the dimensity version could be better than SD8 Gen1 version, particular in raw performance. However this phone has no significant improvement over its siblings. Oppo did axed out some camera features, but they have the same cooling system and same UI. The dimensity version did not sell well, even oppo was giving like 60% discount.

This in turn means that bandwidth between cores and memory subsystem performance plays a bigger role.
Bionic 16 has *32* times the L2 cache of a snap 8g2, and its L2 is 4 times bigger than snaps L3. No wonder it's faster lmao

I've been using this phone for over 1.5 yrs, and have been very much satisfied with the general performance (thanks to 120Hz screen too), maybe only except the heaviest games like Genshin which runs fine maxed out @30 fps, but for 60 fps, I've to drop to medium.
