So technically speaking we have the Snapdragon 600 chip in our s4's in South Africa? Is there any info on when the other 30percent might be released?

      1.2Ghz Quad/1.6Ghz Quad vs 1.9Ghz Quad
Obviously the 1.9Ghz is going to be a faster chip. The big question will come down to battery life. If the battery with the 1.9Ghz is still an improvement over the SIII then that would be the model that I would prefer. But if the 1.2/1.6 has a drastically(more than 1h difference) better battery life, then I'd be willing to sacrifice performance for endurance.

AnonD-77386, 26 Mar 2013Ok, this is in some countries considered FRAUD.. First, the... moreExcept everything before the big event in new york was all rumor. And then even at the event they never mentioend speccs on the processor at the event. Even before the event however, there were speculation of both a quad and octa core processor.
Not to mention the fact that the Octacore only runs on 4 cores at a time (either 1.2 or 1.6 at a time, not both).

Not exactly something that I'd consider fraud.

Ok, this is in some countries considered FRAUD.. First, they advertise something with brilliant specifications to gain marketing momentum.. THEEEN.. they get to the public something completely different, in the knowledge that, derived of said momentum, people will buy it anyways... I don´t care if it is fast enough or not, I care that for the 70% of us it´s not going to be what we were hoping.. or dreaming about...

I won't buy S4 due to double standard by Samsung. Asian countries which has capabilities of LTE should also be given snapdragon 600

The biggest difference between the Exynos and Snapdragon 600 is the GPU. The GPU in the Snapdragon 600 is the Adreno 320, which is the same GPU used in the S4 Pro. The Adreno 320 is already a year old, and is much slower than say the old SGX543MP4, which is not a powerhouse to begin with.

Correct, The two different clocked sets of processors cannot share resources as the gates need to synchronise to the clock speeds of the processors so it’s not possible to have 8 cores operating together.

If you look at some of the demo shown by Samsung they do not have them running simultaneously.

on Antutu benchmark it shows the Octocore version is at the top of the rankings. I believe it will have a longer battery life

I don't understand why would anyone need LTE. This is what you get for complaining that you need LTE in a Nexus 4.

To be fair though, I don't even need 3g. I'm on 2g all the time and use the net over wifi. As a side note it serves reception and battery life really well and 2G is easily enough for email and facebook/IM.
