Even if they have no app it isn't a big deal. You can use the equalizer of your phone. I have 4 pair. The cheapest one which is the Edifier X5 sounds really good with powerful but not overpowering bass.

Google needs to instead of adding features "coming" to their products, actually make reliable products including software.
YouTube has had multiple issues for over a year now (same issues on multiple devices including a pixel phone) you have the watch that has issues, their phones, chromecast is always faulty and has software issues, stadia was terrible, Gmail is awful like their messaging app (used to be good). Their software updates on their phones break more than they fix.
Google is the byword of unreliability and buggy so bring head tracking, its either going to be a broken feature on probably buggy, dodgy earbuds.
