I still remember the time Samsung made the Galaxy Beam. A senior student from my previous college owned one and always used it during student council meetings, and it was fantastic! I still remember it like yesterday despite already graduating for nearly five years. I don't mind seeing a similar idea on a smartwatch.

How the hell did they get a patent? This idea has been around since moderately bright LEDs were invented - maybe the 1980s or so. Demos came out again using bright LEDs and DLP projectors. Every single demo of it has shown that it doesn't work. The angle of projection from the side of a watch is just too shallow.

Wow, does anyone else have the problem where your smartwatch battery just lasts TOO LONG?
Thanks Samsung for finding a solution!

a bit redundant since the wearer already has sight toward the watch screen itself
and as if the battery is long lasting enough
