after all the competition b/w gr8 competitors like samsung, htc, apple, sony etc etc., so far Huawei is d only company who is doing a tremendous job in the smartphone arena. Though in a country like India Huawei as a brand s not dat famous as it is in china, but im sure it within d top 5 list rocking the chartbusters and giving a tough competition to its rivals.

It is indeed a product of someone's wild imagination. Because, though it is packing the most powerful hardware to date, the battery is too small. Yes the S4 uses the exact same sized battery, but also packing an extra set of cores just to preserve the battery life and using a lower clocked CPU chipset and a less capable GPU chipset. And one more thing, it's impossibly thin, I mean, 6.3mm? Come on. But, IF this miraculously turn out to be true (a very BIG IF, of course), then it deserves to be a hit, a BIG HIT. Huawei after all, is a big chinese international player, although not as popular as Samsung or HTC, of course.

Hey, where are the shoaway fanboys who said that the phablet of shoaway would outcompete Note 2, and that Samsung fans was just afraid of shoaway?? Where are they now? Bigtime failure.
Noone is afraid of shoaway coz they dont matter, and never will. Get real, this is not news, the fake buyers will still say shoaway is greatest but the real buyers will stay clear. If you dont buy you dont matter, and if you buy you will chose other brand.

Why would we care what ShoAway is making? And, why are a lot of people buying Xperia Z despite of the older hipset?
Because performance is not everything, even if a china brand made phone with double the performance people would still buy Samsung and Sony.

These Chinese brands have been around for quite some time and have always tried matching the name-brands by specs. I know they are also big companies (but if you operate in China there's a big chance you'll be big due to population alone). However, product quality seems to still be the main issue. I have seen Huawei phones within warranty that already have battery leaks and I currently own a ZTE that's been in the shop under warranty for over a month now. I think there's a very different perspective of value/money in China (not wrong, just different), that they'd rather have it this way as long as you put up less money up front. They probably use wider tolerance in production for lesser rejects. Even for branded products, the China made ones are generally inferior to the exactly the same model built elsewhere - specially those built in the home country.
