-Poor customer service (maybe in some country but i never had issue with customer service) so don't generalize this ...

-Bad battery ( have you seen the reviews and people's comments about HTC One X+,Droid DNA and HTC one) it's even better then Samsung Galaxy S3 battery)

-Bad camera quality compared to the competition will HTC one is on pair if not better then competition in term of Camera..

-No removable battery ( have you ever heard of power pack ?)

Mark, 26 Mar 2013Unfortunately no update will solve the lack of pixels problem.what lack of pixels? pixels are a measurement of size, not quality. Your HD TV is 2 mega pixels but you don't whinge about that do you? (Let me guess, you've got a 4K TV??? Of course) Unlike you, I actually have this phone and have absolutely no complaints about the camera. It impresses everyone I show it to, especially in low light where their cameras suck.

personally i want smartphones with "no camera version", just frontal for video call, like nokia had some models in the e-series. and i like a htc one with no camera, and 150 euro cheaper than camera model

There was 2 very fishy and 1 funny things happen in this so-called "HTC One software update..."

1st, in Hardwarezone review it written,

"While we were halfway through reviewing the HTC One's camera, HTC called and swapped out our One with one (cough, cough) which had a firmware update for the camera.

If it was just firmware update, why HTC needed to swapped out the on-going review unit? They could simply just update the review unit firmware on the spot. The action just make me think in actual there's camera sensor or lense quality issues with HTC One, therefore HTC need to change the whole unit to hide away something.

2nd fishy thing, if everyone look at the "Before" and "After ISO100 full picture, both picture are definitely taken with different camera lenses. If you look at "Before" picture, some items are out of focus even they are on the same line. And if now look at "After" picture, all items on the same line are correctly in focus.

3rd funny thing, think HTC Engineer's screwed the One ISO setting table. So when choose to shoot with ISO800, the firmware actually selected ISO1600 (or ISO3200?) think that's why HTC One ISO800 picture took a sudden dip in image quality than ISO1600. And wehen choose to shoot with ISO1600, the firmware actually selected ISO800 this time.

I wasn't expecting HTC engineer's to make such low class mistakes. If HTC Engineer's are at this quality, what about HTC One quality? You don't need to be a scientist to figure that out...
