Realme GT3's 240W charging system shown off on video: 1-100% in 9 minutes and 37 seconds

20 February 2023
Like Realme's GT Neo5, this one needs under 10 minutes to go from a flat to a full charged battery. The sprint to 20% takes only less than a minute and a half.

I'd be happy with slower charging and a larger battery. As long as it charges to 95% during the night is enough. I do not need or want to charge every few hours no matter how fast it is. The fewer times i need to plug it in the better, not the amount of time as long as it lasts at least the whole day

Both EU and USA will be using fast DC electricity lines for some crucial strategic energy solutions.
It's just that China needs more power becuse it has more people and more manufacturing industry.

Unrelated to this. I've been tortured left, right, and corner on DLS, Fifa, and other online games due to my lagging phone (Infinix Note 8i)

I want to change it to a relatively good phone for gaming, (network and processor-wise), but not those grating brands, Asus and BigShark, or costly phones, this would beat the whole point of asking.

Which phone do I go for?

China is the country where people used the most iPhones, followed by Apple's home market the United States – at that time, 228 million iPhones were in use in China and 120 million in the U.S.Jan 18, 2023.

Please ask all these chinese companies marketing their charging tech why a lot of people from china are using iphones with 20-25w charging?

Heck even the ceo's of these companies are using iphones.

We care more about the battery health/longevity and if the hardware and software are optimized, that the phone becomes a joy to use. Fast charging is nice, but its a not a reason to buy/switch to a new phone.

Anonymous, 21 Feb 2023I feel bad for iPhone You shouldn't. Even with all these fast charging tech offered by these chinese companies, year after year, Apple still sells a lot of iPhones. I don't think charging a phone 100% in 10 minutes is going to convince all the people who buy and use iPhones to switch to these brands, because of fast charging. Fast charging is nice, but most of us are working from home.

blue, 20 Feb 2023Explain one thing to me: why do companies with the slowest ... moreMan answer is pretty simple. Company like Apple and Samsung are available for sale litterary everywhere.
Where companies like Oppo, Vivo, Realme, NMeizu, Xiaomi, Huawei, Honor, ZTE etc are not available everywhere thus they sells less.

                        Another thing is patent infridgement.
Samsung, Apple, Google and Sony did not invented fast charging tech so they cant use it.
They can only borrow this tech and pay royalties but cant use this tech without validation from companies who invented and pioneered fast charging.
Just like companies uses Sony or Samsung Cameras, Samsung, LG or BBKL screens etc.

If Samsung, Apple, Google and Sony dont want to pay very high fines they are only allowed to use what they can. Unless they dont invent their own fast charging tech they will use old garbage ancient ways of charging technology.

                        Its simple as that.
