Samsung Galaxy S23 series pre-orders in France were double those of the S22 series

21 February 2023
The Ultra is the most popular model. Also, quite a few people picked out one of the colorways that are exclusive to the Samsung online store.

AnonD-1082209, 24 Feb 2023Exynos still excellent is a beast too, and more in Europe.A crippled beast when in use. That use a lot of power, hence the poor battery life. I know it, I have a S22U alongside a old Note10+ and now a S23U that I can cap to 85% and still do my day, have more than 30% left ... Something that wasn't possible with the S22U, that's why I kept using my Note10+ and the S22U will be sold in a few days 😅

Samsung haven't ditched Exynos, they are renewing their process node, upgrading their process node to still making Exynos in the future is the best decision.

It's stock ROM with few extra features here and there to differentiate it from AOSP. And you wonder why OneUI is larger and you can fiddle with almost literally anything you can think of.

As for apps, you're mistaken. You can in fact remove pretty much everything and those few that can't be removed, you can disable. I'm talking this as first hand experience, not something I read from somewhere.

In conclusion I wished him a fulfilled day so he could do a little rest before starting to spit his wisdom with constant toxic and negative way of dissrespecting other users. I am one of those pre-orders and I got my green s23 256GB(UFS4.0) last week with galaxy watch5 bundle.don't buy 128GB,it has a slower storage.s23 is a solid pocketable phone just like my old phone galaxy s9 and a worthy upgrade after 5 years.I didn't use camera so much yet but, night portrait quality (rear and front) is really impressive.battery life is the most important thing for me and this one is really good in that department.still in learning stage but, looks like 85% battery (battery protection enabled) can easily last more than a day.no more mid-day charging necessary.I don't use any phone without a case and it is difficult to find good quality s23 cases and screen protectors for now.I don't take the phone out without protection yet :)

Blaming Samsung for protecting their patented technologies. If you weren't just raging mindlessly and actually read Samsung's demands, they are just demanding patent infringing copycats to stop pirating their AMOLED panel tech which is their tech and it's patented, specifically their subpixel arrangement which is apparently also patented. While I'm not a fan of big mega corporations running the world, but a patent is a patent and they exist so competing companies don't just copy someone else's years of hard work and R&D. You can still buy any 3rd party display and install it in your Galaxy phone if it's compatible, but it's just not allowed to be AMOLED design unless it's licensed from Samsung. Is that really such difficult concept to grasp here?

They just needed time to make some improvements to their SoC. All my Samsung phones were using Exynos and ran great. Now with S23 we get Snapdragon and maybe a little more uptime on single charge. But that's about it.
