No much different from 12 series, even more worst. Plastic cheap bild, chip set just a bit more power from 12 lite, curved screen ones of down grade step, and price to big compare to other phones come this year.

I strongly suggest anyone to skip any phones with SD 7 Gen 1 or SD 6 Gen 1 and wait for Gen 2 instead since they'll be fabricated by TSMC. There are major concerns of Gen 1 having heat problem and can't sustain performance in long term heavy usage, that and heat = bad for battery.

Would be interesting to see the performance of SD 7 Gen 1 since there is a video about it showing scores that aren't any better than the 778G/778G+.

Have the money to put another selfie camera but don't have money to upgrade the trashy 8mp+2mp camera. 🤢🤢🤢
You know that smartphone market is declining when almost all OEM use 8mp+2mp camera combination in their midrange phone while gatekeeping telephoto lens exclusive to only to true flagship model.

The fact that they are unable to provide tele-macro camera from 11 Lite 5G NE shocks me. Also, 11 Lite 5G NE came with the then latest Android 11 as well as 3y of software updates and 4y of security patches which its later successors don't have (probably 2y of both for this and 12 Lite). Xiaomi is becoming greedy with such nonsense decisions.

The camera captures "123% more light" than 12 lite?! The math is Waaaaaaaay off here. It actually has a slightly smaller sensor that combined with a slightly brighter aperture translates into a tiny 1% increase in overall light intake.
