I returned my Fold 4. Incredible device but only 1 sim. It’s so big I was hoping to replace work and personal phone. And no access to esim.

Sounds good but still no charger in the box, no GG Victus 2 on main screen and a big crease compared to competition makes this a instant no for many people including me and most of my custoemrs.

I don't mind about the lack of s-pen and slot. Already have the one for the fold 4, which feels like a proper pen (much better than those thin sticks of the ultras lol). I just want a wider cover screen, gapless folding, and at least a 5x periscope lens (if 10x isn't possible)

I thought about it long and hard last night and I think I won't upgrade to an S23 Ultra, Fold 5, or Flip 5. The Snap 8 Gen 2 is real nice but I think I'm going to use my Razr 5G, Flip 3, and SE (2022) until they break. I find the S23U and Folds too big and heavy and Flip 5 should be more of the same as the Flip 3 and 4.
I'm typing from my near 4-year-old Pixel 3 and it still runs smoothly although RAM management is still hit or miss and it lacks dark mode since I kept it on Pie. I could care less of security stuff. I think that's fully overblown although I don't bother downloading my bank app on it.
So what if the Flip 5 has a bigger cover display? I already have that in the Razr 5G and I still can't use every app for it since it's hard viewing some apps in landscape. The experience with a Flip 5 will essentially be the same as my Flip 3. And I don't mind the tiny cover display on the Flip 3. Saves tons of battery life.
I use multiple phones per day, so short battery life doesn't bother me. Be content with what you already have. We're only tempted by something new every year by following sponsored techtubers telling us to go buy the new one and by visiting websites like this.
Heck, I'm thinking of putting my AT&T sim into a $60 iPhone 7. What's the point buying more phones when I have 9 of them I can still use? And iPhone 7 came out nearly 7 years ago and it can still be a respectable daily driver for my needs.
Trying to cut back my data usage to only 5 GB per month. Don't need to spend $20-$25 unlimited under ACP. Hence, why I might be using an iPhone 7 as a daily driver. It still runs really well too for its age. A lot of web browsing and YouTube are a waste of time. Will ruin our health.
