Yes 120hz LTPO AMOLED is better but as a person who mainly watches YouTube videos that cap out at 60 and plays a few games that can't go above 60 (my phone sucks), 120 is not that important but it is very nice. I still prefer having battery life.

If you're buying a low-end 120Hz phone with a fixed refresh rate, yes it will be horrible battery life and you'll only have yourself to blame for buying a cheap phone based only on the spec sheet. oooooh, 120Hz!!!!

It's just, phones with AMOLED 120hz screens drain battery so fast and the other phone I have lasts the whole day. If there's no battery in the equation, like say on PC. Yeah. 144hz is much better especially on shooters and only shooters for me. I prefer a stable 60 than an unstable 144.

For us geeks, the difference is very big between 60 and 120 and after owning a 120 phone, I can't go back to 60. But for most people, they can't even see the difference - I know that because I've actually shown it to a lot of people and less than 5% of them noticed anything. Even those who noticed did not care. You have to remember who the market is for the non-pro iPhones. They just don't care, they just want an iPhone that works. Stuff like that means nothing to them.

I meant that the general public does not know what a HRR is or what it does, and most of them can barely even see the difference. That's why Apple wont add it, its an added cost for something most users wont feel the difference.

If you look at GSMA's review for Pureview1020, the first main disadvantages listed was
"Camera bump on the back"

"Apple’s exploring the possibility of launching a more expensive iPhone “Ultra” above the iPhone Pro and Pro Max models, according to Apple tracker Mark Gurman. The high-end device could arrive as soon as 2024 with the iPhone 16 lineup."
