Podcasts are coming to YouTube Music

Company's head of podcasting confirmed the feature is arriving in the near future.

Idk why, but is that possible that they will just move Google Podcasts to YouTube Music? There's no way Google has two different podcasts streaming services, one of them should be merged into the another one.

        I use YouTube every day but I've never used the music app. Do you get commercials between or during songs with the free version?

There are podcasts about news, product reviews (tech, etc), audio novels, interviews, self-help information etc. And the thing with most podcasts is, that they can be downloaded for future or continued use without an internet connection... Granted, podcasts are not for everyone (and neither is TikTok :P), but they do have their uses, and users...

                  I dont listen to these cuz idc about anyones stories and opinions. It literally be like normal convos. Like cool u talking to someone when theres really no need to stream it. Just talk like normal.

                      why would anyone want to listen to podcasts in music streaming apps?
                      Especially since there are many podcast apps, many free, basic but reliable, like gogle podcasts?
