Pls send Moto to the best psych evaluation institute or whatever. I have G32 having FHD display. 680. More than 10 W chargng as well.

Similarly choosing G72 over G73 is also viable imho. For better OLED screen (I'm not oled only person but still), comparable camera and slower only 4G chipset in exchange. Then count noticably cheaper to it.

Oh, no.... Downgrade, after a downgrade. Moto G52 here in Croatia (Central Europe) is 150€ and for G53 they want 100€ more for HD IPS over FULL HD AMOLED, slower charging, slower chipset, bigger phone with smaller screen, no ultrawide cam...
Are we stupid to buy something like this?!
Samsung is doing the same thing with A series, Xiaomi too. Shame on them...

The G51 5G has the same chipset, same 120hz but with 1080p resolution screen and better camera setup. Whereas the G52 has OLED and better cameras than this, and much faster charging, but no 5G and only a 90hz screen. It's really a preference question between the G51 5G and the G52, G53 just doesn't make any sense for anyone.

SShock, 26 Feb 2023I swear the camera bump looks identical to Poco X4 GT's.Maybe the phones are designed by the same company? Pocos and almost all Redmis aren't designed by Xiaomi. Not sure if moto has a similar approach for their cheaper models so they could be designed by the same third party ODM. Moto do manufacture a lot of their own phones though (all their own flagships amd higher end models seem to be manufactured by themselves) as they have their own manufacturing facilities in China. Xiaomi basically outsource all manufacture apart from a few limited models like some mix models. Wouldn't be surprising if they are both using the same ODM for these lower end models though. That's a possible speculative explanation

i looked at moto g53 multiple times the specs are good but im afraid if it will have something bad in the software i once had a moto and it couldnt move numbers from phone to sim and burned faster than another phone i had with the exact same specs and i used the other nonstop and played games, also they have like 1 or 2 or 3 other models which have very good specs but i was like moto should be good now if moto became lenovo because they merged

*insert 695 and 480 is bad weak* but they really not but what they are is very efficient they use less battery with 100% load than other chipsets when not gaming and they also have a76 a78 like all other smartphones nowadays 2xbig 6xsmall and the adreno 619 is very good, i have a g52 mp2 the g57mp2 is twice stronger well the 619 imagine it being powerful like a g57mp3 or a little more, the only bad thing about 695 for example is video max 1080p60 and most phones run at 1080p30 with the chipset, well the snapdragon 4 gen 1 is a 695 equivalent and snap 6 gen 1 has 4k, theres the sony 10iv which is good but good camera but chipset only 1080p video and last gen had 4k now they will change to snap 6 gen 1 which is equivalent to 778g and has 4k video 1080p60

Phone is not great but ... Simple Box for environment make sense...Other Brands should learn from Motorola..🙂

massive downgrade only for 5G... while 5G has been on the market for quite some time and the price cannot be the same as years ago, but we still observe such differences in equipment
