Win Mobile Pro: Touch Base Win Mobile.
Win Mobile Standard: None-Touch Base Win Mobile.
They know just about Nokia & Symbian, & the only thing they can say is: Nokia is God, Nokia is king, Nokia is best, Nokia 4ever.
After this comment, you can see more & more comments like: why dis fone is not touch screen? where is touch support?
Design is OK, better than S730, but looks like HTC ♥s to develop more Touch D/Pro like phones.
Why HTC just develops black color cells, not metallic silver phone?

Does it come with TV remote control functions? Coz it sure looks like one ;p
Seriously, I was hoping for an update to the S730, which I consider one of the best designs for WM Standard (standard keypad and slide out QWERTY keyboard). But the styling of the S740 isn't quite my cup of tea...

At least this shows that it's not yet a dying breed :D

But I think the design is not that much of capitalizing on the Diamond's design, and besides, it uses different OS version.
For example, TyTN II and S730 has roughly similar looks too.

So, what will be next ? The Diamond variant of the Shift ? To complete the variations possibility :D

Why dont HTC understand that the consumer needs a bigger screen. why dont they make phone with screens bigger than 2.8" or 2.4" screens?

who would like to do browsing on a tiny screen? on top of that in windows mobile the top and bottom has soft bars for start icon and left/right soft keys and they make the screen area more smaller.

So this is where they’ll cash the rumored-to-be-disabled GPS of the previous model. So this means no WM 6.1 official for S710 and 730 ?

Can’t comment much on the design other than it looks long, in an uncomfortable proportion to the eye. At least for me. If they just made it shorter or wider.

Actually I think it looks pretty good.. I liked the design - it really looks like a phone and not a like another small PDA. Maybe just a little bit too long, but that's ok. The keyboard will be very handy to texters, but what about all the other apps? How do you control a WinMo phone without a touchscreen?

It is so bad in my opinion , they make they screen so small and make other calling number outside the phone , it is look ugly , i think pro is really good than anything .
