Honor Magic5 Pro unveiled with a custom 1/1.12" camera sensor, vanilla Magic5 follows

The Pro model has a triple 50MP camera setup, the vanilla model goes for 54+50+32MP. Both have large LTPO displays and are powered by the SD 8 Gen 2.

Not bad. Although funny that the vanilly Magic 5 looks better than the Pro brother.

    Would be a better investment than the Xiaomi.

      Why would they release them in Q2 tho?

          Digital zoom it's not optical zoom, that 3.5x tele at 10x digital zoom, will look really awful..

                    Event was very boring and very unprofessional. The back of phone is terrible. Price to high. Was thinking to buy, will grab OP11..

                        Another phone that i cant afford 🥲

                          Global pricing is much better than the Xiaomi 13 series but in China it's going to be more expensive than the Xiaomi 13 series (kind of the reverse to Xiaomi's pricing strategy). The overall camera setup on the pro model is also impressive. Good to see them opting for a better ultrawide than the jn1 sensor. Ai motion sensing automatic capture also looks interesting. The f1.6 aperture with this sensor will be interesting

                              Or Porsche design model.

                                Okay these prices don't seem that bad, maybe the Pro could've been 1100€.
                                Overall this is a better choice than Xiaomi 13 in my opinion.
                                I don't want to talk about the design, i'm getting goosebumps from washing machine camera design.
