an audio app in essence should focus in the audio experience (equalizer & dsp) and not the UI wich no one will see since we all put the screen off for the most usage of this app.

Yeah, changing interface all the time makes it super intuitive!

I miss the days of google play music. Simple service, simple interface, just music. But Google had to make it "intuitive" by merging it with youtube music (because you WANT and NEED to have a video for your music, right?). Now Spotify seems to go the same way - go crazy or go home!
Any decent alternatives that don't change on a whim?

It's a streamlined change. Definitely works for how I use the heart button. Wonder if it'll work well with Android Auto.
