I use it for video ... moreFor you yes, but for most people who will buy S23 Ultra no, most people would be pretty upset if they bought a brand new 1000+ dollar phone and it's selfies looked god awful, especially in day and age where selfies are popular.

    So yeah, while for few of us it's a trade off we would make, for most it's not, that's why smaller brands like ZTE can do it, but bigger ones like Samsung can't.

      Its just that after 400ppi you are getting diminishing returns, kinda like with high refresh rate.

            That will be an amazing phone if they add a very good main camera. Looking forward for 7 march and some tests.

                                Very happy to see ZTE keep refining the UDC technology, even though it likely will not be available here :/

                                The side and towards back though, I prefer it to be more rounded for comfort. The boxy design does mean more internal volume though, so could be worth the trade off.

I... moreThe camera quality of the UDC looks terrible, like a camera from 10 years ago, and unlike tech enthusiasts who don't take many selfies, many people take selfie quality very seriously, so Samsung won't put it in until the quality of the UDC is the quality of the current punch hole camera.

Software sti... moreFor me its enough, I don't have any complaints regarding the pixel density. Still, UDC is meh - I would prefer how Sony keeps their phone upper bezel slightly bigger, but with proper camera solution.
