              18:9 to 19.5:9 should be phone ratios. 20:9, 21:9 and everything beyond is trash

                XZ1 duo was the last device with 16:9 (this was in Fall 2017)

                XZ2 duo was 18:9. XZ2 Premium remained the only 16:9 device (Spring 2018)
                XZ3 was 18:9 (Fall 2018)

                Xperia 1 arrived with 21:9 and everything since then has been 21:9 for them. (Spring 2019).

                Thinking back, I guess they at least moved fast to what's now becoming the new standard instead of doing workaround with notches and holes, so kudos to them for that.

                    Tecno uses 21,25:9 = 😁
                    Sony uses 21:9 = 😡🤬

                        At the early bird prices, this will cost same as a S23 256 GB. Also comes with a case and charger. Overall good value for price considering it's a foldable
