Well of course there are some other smaller players like Asus, etc... But from the bigger brands HTC is the cheapest brand and also the phones are the cheapest to produce, so more gain for Facebook.

Facebook for android is the worst app ever. Update it first, facebook!
And ios app has a few bugs as well but is way better !

I think FaceBook should've worked withed wether Samsung or Sony rather than HTC, yet the phone might be a hit, Will it keep up with the AndroJungle where The HTC One, Xperia Z, Optimus G Pro and Galaxy S IV are Emperors?

New features could come.. like:
1. with facebook video call
2. multilingual support
3. Multi language Chat
4. support for fb apps and games.. etc.
and many more could be an added advantage... but the best thing would be an spetialaddition of fbos vertion of the os. which could be booted on other devices.

Phone will have unique features like all synced data being public on the new Facebook data servers when policy changes, until such changes are brought out to the world by big news websites after which your data has already been compromised.
