-You need to manually move it to the SD card. You also need to manually move it every time you update the app last I did it. It sucks, but that's how it works. Some apps only work on internal storage, but the majority work on external. You can also force it to be movable to external through Android developer options.

Also, where is YOUR proof that YOUR card broke? All I am saying is that none of my like 12 SD cards ever broke. People's experiences may vary.

Anonymous, 03 Mar 2023I seen people using iphone for 5+ yrs. Is it same here?S7+ bought in 2016, used daily by my until 2 years ago, then passed to the wife. Still working fine, no swollen battery, charge holding most part of the day. So yes, I can attest Samsung flagships LASTS as much or even more than iphones. I still have my Note 3, and S5, they both work well, used by the kids to see media.

And exactly which apps can run from the card???
          Such app does not exist.
Only exception is navigation where maps are stored onto the card but whole app must run from the phone.
Whenever you install any app it automaticaly install into your phone storage not othervise.
Why do you trying to lie.
Whats your reason for brainwashing others???

I have been using SD Cards for over a decade and not a single one has failed yet. Keep your experience to yourself if you aren't going to disclose that this happened to YOU and are saying it like it's a common occurrence. It's not. Calm down now. Also, Android apps can run on a Micro SD card. Stop spreading misinformation.

Maybe a scroll or a transition here and there but nothing serious, and it is barely noticeable unless I've just used the S23.

ALonZo, 03 Mar 2023Have you used the S23 Ultra? There is still lag on Samsung smartphones, but it only starts after using it for some time. New devices like the S23 Ultra obviously would not lag for now. I have a friend with an S21 Ultra who has had it for a year and a half and he experiences quite a bit of lag now.

Most likely, an anonymous comment, if it used some inappropriate language or something. These anonymous comments are more easily deleted, than comments from users with accounts. At least, this is what I saw.

There are very few phones with over 256GB of internal storage, and most of them don't go above 512GB. The few that do have something like a $300 price gap between 500GB and 1TB, even though it only costs like $45 to gap the difference in an NVMe SSD.

My iPhone X lags a little more than my Pixel 3. The Pixel 3 has the same SoC as the S9. It shouldn't be that much slower than an S10. Once my X is down to 1%, it's definitely being throttled which means laggy animations.

The idea that iPhone ages 10x better than Androids is false unless you're comparing an iPhone and Android from 10 years ago. Androids by 2017 or later age just as well as the iPhones released that same year.

Now glass obviously doesn't bend but i believe these multi billion dollar companies can come up with some kind of solution

Narazumono, 04 Mar 2023I would never consider a foldable mainly due to the price ... moreWell yeah I would agree with that. I’ll only consider a foldable when, like I said earlier, they offer benefits without compromise compared to a slab design, and at similar prices. Now I know that is likely quite a ways off, but I can wait.

After all I can’t see how having the ability open my screen out to a slightly larger screen is going to be life altering in any real and measurable way. Certainly not enough to justify the extra expense and anxiety (due to their inherent flimsiness) associated with owning any of the current folding offerings.

                                  $2000 for one is crazy

Anonymous, 04 Mar 2023Haha, 10MB/s? What a pity. You must be a using cheap China ... moreIf you go for SanDisk's Extreme Pro microSD card, it can go up to 200MB/s of transfer speed. Here in Malaysia, the 1TB version is available at Shopee for $250. To put that in perspective, the gap between 256GB and 1TB capacity for Samsung S23 Ultra is $335. For iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max, it'd be $450.

What else is new. The time when they will give a true and honest look at phone still needs to be invented. Because who cares that you can't expand the memory of the phone. Who cares that you can barely save anything other than photo's, videos and apps on your phone (no pdf etc). Who cares that they are centuries behind on customization. Who cares that they still use lightning port instead of usb-c just so they can squeeze more money out of third party accessory manfacturers and customers. Who cares that they completely lock you in their ecosystem forcing you to stay there since they refuse to release apps like iMessage on Android and actually give people a choice. Who cares that their " repair' policy is still the worst of all the other manufacturers out there (I know, I worked for official servicepoint). Who cares that their devices are horribly overpriced. I can go on for a lot longer but it seems like all those millions of Apple users don't care at all. It's a shame since there are so many good options out there that are equal or better and on top of that cheaper. Samsung is a really example of that.

Narazumono, 04 Mar 2023He deleted his comment so i'm not exactly sure what he... moreI’m not sure it was him that deleted it. I do think foldables have the potential to be the future standard form factor. Personally speaking though, I am not willing to spend a single penny on any one of them, including any future folding iPhones. Not until foldables as a form factor offer only benefits, and have no compromises compared to the slab designs we have now.
