The shiny dark grey color shows once more the Huawei-wanna be attitude Xiaomi has since its competitor demise. Why not having your own identity instead of going for things like this, entering a partnership with Leica etc.?

Bass heavy sound is easier and cheaper to make than balanced sound. Don't get surprised when your see something flat sounding and expensive. Flat can be boring but very accurate. But for casual listening heavy bass is cool and pleasant especially if you listen r&b pop and rap. If rock or metal is your favorite never buy bass heavy earbuds. This is my experience.

Regarding the Bluetooth performance, it is influenced by local interference and many other factors. There are places where you will get similar performance from any other BT headphone.
10 feet line-of-sight range isn't unusual in my experience.
Also LDAC is very sensitive to interference.
Additionally, almost any BT headphone will experience drop-outs when your body is in the way. Human bodies are famously problematic things for a BT signal to penetrate.
Still, they are way overpriced I think.
