This will never change as ong as Carl Pei will be alive and working.

Same goes for every device they making.
Its a brand voted or desired be people and for people.

I mean Nothing 1 came with fancy lights.
Nothing 2 get fancy speaker.
Nothing 3 will have maybe fancy materials which phone will be made from maybe a deca camera setup or 2 or even 3 inch sensor on main camera who knows.
Nothing 4 maybe a imbeded projector inside or connection into a virtual reality like that fancy helmet from matrix movie which could teach you everything in mere seconds.
They just trying to be modern, new and different as Carl Pei always wanted with Oneplus phones but never could since part of the brand always belonged to BBK Electronics

if this retails at the similar price as jbl charge 4 (though its an aged speaker, still sounded brilliant) then it wouldnt be worth it.

They trying to be different where other brands died on Research and Developement and past 3-5 years pusing same thing just with the latest cpu and gpu but same boring design.
Soon if all will gone well we will see this tech on other more popular brands.
At leas Carl Pei hired good design team and right people for developement.
