Yes, resale value would probably by shit since vivo is pretty much a no name here but i don't care too much since I always give my old phone to my father when getting a new one.
Screw me if i'm still going to support greedy samsung with stagnant phones, i've been with them for 10 years and each year looking to get back to them and disappointing me
vivo has better camera, larger and better working fingerprint scanner, very good face recognition unlike samsung which is so cringe to use, faster charging speeds etc
My wife has the s23 ultra for more than a month and is funny to see her frustration when even the fingerprint scanner fails to read her finger sometimes to a point it asks for password and she has to reregister.
Is clear to me that samsung has gone to apple path and doesn't show any sign of coming back soon and trying to sell us the tech of yesterday for the price of tomorrow.
If vivo wasn't an option i rather buy a huawei and use google with gbox than coming back to samsung, huawei is too a superior phone to samsung and i'm so pissed to what happened to them after owning a p40 pro

I tested 200mp mode and 50mp mode on vivo and in daiylight they look pretty much the same, lower the light just a bit and indoor and low light the 50mp photo of vivo has much more details . Not to mention that HDR of vivo is 2 generation ahead of samsung.

You can't use the GSPACE or other methods including sideloading of GMS on HarmonyOS because Android Auto will tell you that this phone it's not compatible with AA because it wasn't installed from factory .

Also, slow updates, bad software support, and low resale value are some decisive factors for some people :)

If you take a pic between optical range on samsung like 8-9x it will look completely trash while on vivo will look good at any range.
In indoorr and low light vivo's zoom looks better because of bigger sensor and it good light at 10x they look pretty much the same.
