They did add where it detects if people enter your selected play area so you don't punch them accidentally if they come through your guardian wall. But the quest 2 is not going to map your house. If it did what would be the benefit? The blueprint of every house is down at the planning commissions office. But even during a raid the police don't go there to look at it because they can see your layout with their eyes, when they bash in your door. So stop being paranoid.

You just need to take time to develop your "VR legs" there's free games and videos that help your brain deal over come that weird feeling of moving and not moving at the same time.

I've had a Quest 2 since 2021. I put it on the other day for the first time in a year. Played Blade and Sorcery for 15 minutes, got motion sickness. Kept trying to climb ladders and falling off them
That was enough for another year

Do not want the zuck to get a realistically precise virtual map of my residence along with mapping what I like to do in the virtual world.
Will wait for similar products from other brands with much lesser dystopian implications.

I may buy a Quest 3 instead.
Though if the SoC is the same as rumors say then i would just get the 2nd.
