heyx, 07 Mar 2023thought they were using IMX989, seems like a significant do... moreWhat actually matters is the software implementation, if it were good, then it would compensate the sensor size decrease and because it's a Sony sensor now, it would capture the colors much more naturally but since, you know, this is a Meizu phone, we should keep our hopes at lowest.

thought they were using IMX989, seems like a significant downgrade from 1/1.3 GN1 in Meizu 18 Pro down to 1/1.56

Meizu can make good looking phones. I hope they will finally deliver good software support. It's a shame Meizu is not available in stores in the EU.

Meizu is set to get back in the smartphone space after a long hiatus...
The 20 series phones look and sound promising on paper, but the success (or failure) of the phone will primarily depend on three main factors: Software experience, Pricing and Availability. Rest all will be top-tier anyway, since it's a flagship phone lol.
If Meizu manages to nail those with the 20 series, then it's gonna be a hit no doubt.
