It's not because you don't mind it that everyone is like you. Phone manufacturers should care about everyone

Gggg, 06 Mar 2023They say 2.7x on twitter, but it seems very low for a peris... moreI think it's good. The best sensor yet on a periscope. The main sensor should do almost lossless 2x. This 2.7x is good for portraits and it should be able to get very good quality up to 5x. Also should be able to do better than other telephotos imdoors and in less than ideal lighting. Some leakers like digital chat station are saying the hybrid zoom is pretty decent up to 10x

Anonymous, 07 Mar 2023Difference over 30 nits should not be allowed.
No excuse... more"Difference over 30 nits should not be allowed. No excuse."
Let me guess: You're setting that "30 nits" threshold because Xperia 1 IV had a maximum of 27 nits of difference across the panel whereas S23 Ultra had 32 nits.
Both phones have a 97% brightness distribution, and the difference between the two would be negligible if you dimmed down S23 Ultra's panel to Xperia's level. On either device, a screen will appear evenly lit to human eyes. You're not taking a picture of screen with your camera or anything, you know.

Nick Tegrataker, 06 Mar 2023"240Hz flickering"
According to Notebookcheck... moreDifference over 30 nits should not be allowed.
No excuse.
Also, even at 50% is too obvious to users.
Majority of time, auto brightness on phones keep screens above 40% ..
Samsung has weakest screen among phones above $800.

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2023While samsung gives to own phone screen with :
- 240Hz ... more"240Hz flickering"
According to Notebookcheck's review of S23 Ultra:
"In our measurements, we observed a constant frequency of 120 Hz at minimum brightness. This may sound low at first, but can be classified as **relatively easy on the eyes due to the flat period curve**. If the brightness is increased, the frequency doubles, but remains at a constant level. Slight fluctuations only occur between 240 and 250 Hz during touch inputs. The panel's behavior corresponds to that of one with **permanent DC dimming**, even if Samsung does not specify this."
"bad brightness distribuition across surface"
Again, according to Notebookcheck's testing, the brightness distribution is 97% - It's essentially impossible for you to notice such a slight brightness difference across the panel.
Though the 8-bit part is something I definitely agree with you on.

Shirleyboy, 06 Mar 2023I was looking forward to the Oppo x6Pro release but I fear ... more6.8 is normal and not excessive you people sounds like living still in a fucking past. It's not 16:9 ratio, it's getting taller phones not wider. 6 in 19.5:9 or 6.7:20:9 they almost same size just 6.7 is taller little bit. I have small hands for a male still have no problems to use 6.7 inch tall screen phone.

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2023No signature design👎 Majority of people could hardly spo... moreI like the simplicity of the "I have a good camera so my camera bump is big and circular" design. In comparison, the IR cooktop bump on iPhone is looking a bit too complex to my taste and I don't really dig Samsung's camera design.
