SD888 was a really flawed chip even SD 8 gen 1 & 2 had overheating issues. Qualcomm and manufactures wont acknowledge it tho.

If the phone have a good head distribution (to not a phone, more a tablet) well it can be good but in a small phone as an S21FE (the one I tested) well no-go.

If I remember correctly, the problem with this 888 and most chipsets manufactured by Samsung are the heating issue that many users complain about, which is where this chipset would be such a pain if installed on a phone with poor heat distribution. But hopefully, since this is a tablet with more heat space, I just hope that Oppo can manage it properly, then it would be such an upgrade over 870.

Have an op9pro with sd888, at first it was fast, but really burned the battery, after the Android 13 upgrade its still as fast, but battery life doubled! Not sure what they did with it, but if it performs the same in the tab, it should be good, naturally the price has to be low.
