They are the best....but how did they leave something to be desired? Unless you mean how in general phone screens at that time lacked resolution and needed more cause they all did. Not Amoled cause they were the nicest screens then too. Where as everyone complains amoled is saturated most LCD screens then were washed out. At high brightness youd practically see silver before black

kikko, 30 Mar 2013why amoled? why? :( get burned after few months.. never aga... moresuper amoled on my galaxy s Gti9000 still going excelent. i dont use it anymore now but its perfectly fine even after almost three years. i used it form gaming, browsing, watching movies, pic editing, playing songs, texting, call, skype vid call, frequently n no prob till now...

Galaxy S became a blur and the SII left burn in within the first six months mostly noticeable on the all white screens where the keyboard was present.
I really think they got it figured out now.

kikko, 30 Mar 2013why amoled? why? :( get burned after few months.. never aga... moreBetter question; why are all the menus white with dark text instead of the usual black with light text (like EVERY other amoled..and many LCDs)? It's better for battery-life, better for decreasing burn-in, better for night-time use whilst not harming daytime use in the least, and it just looks a bit more professional for some reason.

sumsung supply parts for apple products....
so if ur using apple product, ur using samsung hardware too..
so don't be proude of apple hardware, the dispaly panels,memory,processors most of them r supplied by samsung to apple. so think about it nicely again, whose fantastic.
